Jason Cummings Says He Wants to Stay at Rangers After Best Experience He’s Had

Jason Cummings wants to stay at Rangers as it’s been the best experience he’s ever had.

The Scottish striker has only been on loan at the club since January, making 17 appearances and scoring six goals.

He wasn’t getting games at Nottingham Forest, which led to the loan north to strengthen Graeme Murty’s team, but he’s been unable to get consistency at Ibrox too, with the majority of his appearances coming off the bench.

And that means there are serious doubts over Cummings’ Rangers future – as they’ll have to pay a substantial fee to sign him in the summer if Forest are willing to sell.

Asked for his opinion on his future while speaking to the press ahead of Rangers’ game with Hibs on Sunday, Cummings was definite with his answer:

Cummings has declared the months at Rangers as the best experience he’s had in football, but did admit to being frustrated at his lack of game time, with fellow striker Alfredo Morelos preferred more often this season:

Cummings will start against old team Hibs on Sunday, with Morelos out through suspension, so he’ll be hoping to sign off in style and give a final reminder that he can contribute in the Steven Gerrard era.
