The Brazilian midfielder has been a mainstay with the Ligue 1 outfit for several years now, after coming through the ranks at Real Madrid, and played a crucial role in Monaco reaching the Champions League semi-finals in 2017.
However, the 24-year-old has known to be on the lookout for a move to the Premier League for some time now, and it had been previously thought Manchester United would be his eventual destination, but now it seems Jurgen Klopp has swooped in at the 11th hour.
According to the Telegraph, Liverpool have agreed a fee of around £44 million plus add-ons for the versatile international, who is also more than capable of filling in at right-back.
With Emre Can likely to depart Anfield in the coming weeks, a defensive midfielder was badly needed by Liverpool – and it seems the club’s fans approve of Fabinho:
Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keïta.
That midfield would make me very happy.
Maybe Fekir, too.

Fabinho, 24, is a strong tackler, aerially dominant, an incisive passer, has excellent positioning, is multi-functional and ticks an important box long left unchecked by #LFC

My word Liverpool are serious about rejoining the top echelon. Fabinho has the mobility to cover big spaces which is what they need at DM. Can do a job at RB against the top wingers too. More good business.

Fabinho-Keita-Fekir is title-challenging worthy from Liverpool. Lost for words.

If the rumors are true, Fabinho – Fekir – Keita behind THAT front three could be absolutely immense
