Liverpool Fans Are at Their Wits’ End with Goalkeeper Loris Karius

Liverpool supporters have seen enough of goalkeeper Loris Karius after the German’s latest dodgy showing tonight against Roma.

The 24-year-old has been installed as the Reds’ first-choice goalie, after beating off competition from Simon Mignolet earlier in the campaign, and there’s no question that he’s improved since arriving at Anfield.

But Karius definitely still has a mistake in him, as he showed in this evening’s Champions League semi-final second-leg against the Serie A giants in the Eternal City.

With Jurgen Klopp’s men winning 2-1 on the night, and 7-3 on aggregate, it looked like they were cruising towards the final, but they didn’t bank on Karius parrying a pretty tame shot straight into the path of the dangerous Edin Dzeko:

As you can probably imagine, the unconvincing display from Karius prompted typical responses from Liverpool fans:

What do you think of the goal, and the reaction from fans?

And do Liverpool need to replace him in the summer?
