Liverpool have announced plans for a potential street parade with the Champions League trophy later this month – but the club’s supporters are far from happy with the proposals.
The Reds take on Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26 as they aim to win their sixth European Cup, in a season where few pundits expected them to be in the running to lift the big-eared trophy.

If Jurgen Klopp’s men do the business and upset Cristiano Ronaldo and co, there will be a victory parade for supporters to get a good look at their heroes and their latest piece of silverware.
However, the planned route and scheduled timing of the celebrations has left plenty of fans livid, many of whom have taken to social media to express their grievances.
Liverpool City Council have announced that the parade will take place from midday on May 27, just hours after the final whistle has sounded in Kiev – meaning supporters who’ve forked out to actually go to Ukraine may not be back in time to witness the event:
Looks like half the lads in Kyiv will be missing the parade IF we win

How are Liverpool fans travelling Kiev expected to get back for it?
— George (@GeorgeDavies97) May 17, 2018
While 17 000 fans are in the air travelling back from Kiev and all 4 corners of Europe. Great timing that! 👍🏻

Be boss if we could just enjoy a final , without getting fucked over for travel and tickets , then the parade happening when half the fans are still stuck in Kiev . Absolute farce from the beginning this 👎🏻. End of the day they’re not assed about the fans #rats

The club haven’t really thought much about the fans going to Kiev have they? IF we win the UCL, the victory parade is the next day… kinhell.

The way all this is being handled re Kiev, Bus Parade etc.. Just dont turn up for @LFC first game or have a walk out. Need some sort of protest. Club just shrugging their shoulders at everything we say.

Having a parade the following day should the Redmen bring home number 6 is beyond ridiculous! Most of the traveling Kop will still be in Kiev FFS ! #LFC

What do you think of the organisation? Should the club and council have put more thought into the fans?
What do you think?
