Liverpool Fans Livid with Club’s Plans For Champions League Trophy Parade

Liverpool have announced plans for a potential street parade with the Champions League trophy later this month – but the club’s supporters are far from happy with the proposals.

The Reds take on Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26 as they aim to win their sixth European Cup, in a season where few pundits expected them to be in the running to lift the big-eared trophy.

If Jurgen Klopp’s men do the business and upset Cristiano Ronaldo and co, there will be a victory parade for supporters to get a good look at their heroes and their latest piece of silverware.

However, the planned route and scheduled timing of the celebrations has left plenty of fans livid, many of whom have taken to social media to express their grievances.

Liverpool City Council have announced that the parade will take place from midday on May 27, just hours after the final whistle has sounded in Kiev – meaning supporters who’ve forked out to actually go to Ukraine may not be back in time to witness the event:

What do you think of the organisation? Should the club and council have put more thought into the fans?

What do you think?
