Kane has been in direct competition with Liverpool star Mo Salah for the Premier League’s top-scorer award for most of the campaign, and the pair were also in the running for the English top-flight’s end-of-season awards, with Salah eventually being crowned the player of the year.
The Egyptian striker was presented with his new trinket earlier today at Liverpool’s Melwood Training Ground, and after posing with his team-mates, the inevitable banter on Instagram soon got underway – where Lovren revealed his less than flattering nickname for Kane:

Of course, the Croatian centre-back is referring to Kane claiming he scored a goal against Stoke City last month, despite camera’s struggling to find an angle where he touched the ball.
Kane was eventually credited with the goal, but it still seems very unlikely that he’ll catch Salah in the final three matches – and all he’s got to show for his efforts is a rotten new nickname.
Do you think Lovren is being too disrespectful?
