No One is Having John McGinn to Rangers After Reports of Interest

Absolutely no one is having John McGinn to Rangers after reports of the club’s interest surfaced this morning.

According to dailyrecord.co.uk, the Ibrox director of football Mark Allen is keen on the Hibs midfielder and has passed that on to Steven Gerrard as he begins recruiting for his squad this summer.

McGinn has been regularly linked with Celtic in the past, touted as Scott Brown’s long term replacement for club and country.

But a bid from the Hoops has never materialised – and, according to this morning’s paper, Rangers could look to steal in and sign him.

Except – no one believes that’s going to happen.

They mainly believe it because McGinn appears to be a Celtic fan and prefer a move there if he leaves Hibs:

You get the picture.

Hibs will no doubt look for £3million plus for McGinn, considering how good he’s been for them since signing from St Mirren in 2015.

Could Rangers afford a fee like that? If they could, would they choose to spend it on McGinn?
