Roberto Firmino Embraces ‘Bobby’ Nickname With Instagram Profile Change

Roberto Firmino seems to be embracing his ‘Bobby’ nickname with a chance to his Instagram profile.

The Liverpool striker is just days away from leading the line for his side against Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

But he seems relaxed about it all – as his latest Instagram update shows.

Most supporters refer to Firmino as Bobby, the common shortening of the name Robert in Britain.

Now Firmino has updated his Instagram profile to show his name as Bobby Firmino – and that’ll no doubt delighted many fans:

Firmino has 26 goals for Liverpool this season as well 14 assists in all competitions and he’s been just as big a part of the team as fellow striking stars Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

So he’ll be expected to make a telling impact on Saturday’s game in Kiev, which is expected to see thousands of Liverpool fans descend on the city.

If Liverpool can win, it’ll be their sixth European Cup victory and finish off a season that has been nothing but positive for Jurgen Klopp and his men.
