Scotland Fans Reckon Jordan Archer Isn’t Quite Up to International Football

Jordan Archer made his full debut for Scotland last night – and some supporters are hopeful that it’s his last appearance on the international stage.

The Millwall goalkeeper has been included in plenty of squads over the past few years but has never actually started a game between the sticks for the dark blues, but last night’s friendly against Peru in Lima was finally his chance to show what he can do.

However, things didn’t go to plan, and it wasn’t long before Archer had come rushing prematurely out of his area, and gifted the home side a penalty.

Archer couldn’t do anything about the spot-kick, and he couldn’t do anything about Jerfferson Farfan’s second goal just after half-time either – although he really should’ve saved it.

The time of kick-off back in Scotland was 2am, but Archer’s errors were definitely making waves back home:
