Tam McManus Looks Like He’s Going to Regret This Tweet About Hibs and Rangers

Tam McManus should have probably waited until after Hibs‘ game with Rangers before sending this tweet.

The former Hibs striker turned pundit was watching on like the rest of us as the battle for second heated up at Easter Road.

The Hibees knew the best they could hope for would be third, if they beat Rangers by six clear goals.

But Rangers went into the game on the hunt for second, hoping they could beat Hibs and Celtic could beat Aberdeen in Glasgow.

That plan didn’t start out too well for them though, with Neil Lennon’s men going 3-0 up early on.

At that point, McManus thought this tweet would be a good idea:

Fast forward to the 54th minute and Jason Holt firing beyond Ofir Marciano to make it 4-3 t0 Rangers – and McManus’ tweet hasn’t aged well.

We’ve screengrabbed the above tweet as it could very well end up deleted – but you should pay attention to the retweet numbers if Rangers manage to hold on and beat Hibs.

McManus was mentioning Lennon’s angry rant after Hibs lost to Edinburgh rivals Hearts in midweek to scupper their chances of finishing second in the Premiership.
