Thomas Cook have clarified why flights are expensive and why there aren’t more than four planes being charted by the company to take Liverpool fans to Kiev.
The Reds will be in the Ukrainian capital next week for the Champions League Final against Real Madrid, hopeful that they can get a win and secure their sixth European Cup.
Given the exciting season under Jurgen Klopp and how special this final has been for the club in the past, thousands will make the trip regardless of whether or not they have a ticket.
But plenty are disappointed with Thomas Cook and how they’ve dealt with getting supporters to the game.
While some are critical of the expensive flights, others believe there should be more made available to accommodate the large numbers travelling.

So it’s more to do with the season than wanting to get more money from fans, while the short notice has left them unable to secure more than four planes.
Liverpool fans will no doubt get to the game in some way, but it’s a shame travel arrangements haven’t been easier to sort.
