Video: Alex McLeish Tells Andy Robertson Real Madrid Are Easy in Good Luck Message

Alex McLeish told Andy Robertson that Real Madrid are easy as the Scotland team wished the Liverpool man good luck in the Champions League Final.

The Scottish full back would have probably been in that squad for friendlies with Peru and Mexico over the next week had he not been involved in tonight’s game in Kiev.

But instead he’ll go up against Cristiano Ronaldo and co as Liverpool look to win their sixth European Cup.

Robertson will be focusing on Real Madrid now, but would have no doubt appreciated the SFA sending a good luck message from the national team ahead of the game.

And McLeish’s message would no doubt have made him laugh – mentioning Aberdeen’s victory over Madrid in the 1983 Cup Winners’ Cup Final:

Robertson is starting the game in Kiev and much will be expected of him after starring for Liverpool since breaking into the starting XI.

He was signed from Hull in the summer and had to bide his time to get his chance before impressing Jurgen Klopp.
