John McGinn followed up one beauty of a goal in Scotland training with another last night.
The Hibs midfielder is with Alex McLeish’s squad in Peru ahead of their friendly against the South Americans tonight.
And he looks in good form ahead of most likely starting in the World Cup warm up.
McGinn managed to score six goals for the Hibees this season, but he’s been unable to open his account for the national team in seven international games.
Based on his finishing in training this week though – which started with this belter days ago – McGinn could be a good shout to score tonight:

That is some finish.
Now that Scott Brown has retired from international football, there is an opportunity for McGinn to stake his claim in the middle of the Scotland midfield on a regular basis.
He failed to start McLeish’s first game back in charge of the country – a 1-0 defeat to Costa Rica – but he played from the beginning in the following match against Hungary, which Scotland won 1-0.
