Nabil Fekir showed Liverpool fans a glimpse of what they can perhaps come to expect next season by scoring for France in their World Cup warm-up match against the Republic of Ireland tonight.
The Lyon attacker has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield this summer, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly willing to sanction a stunning £53 million move for the highly-rated 24-year-old.
His impressive campaign in Ligue 1 has seen Fekir included in the France World Cup squad, and he looks determined to get some game time over in Russia.
He might’ve had quite a bit of help from Ireland goalie Colin Doyle but that’s only Fekir’s second goal for his country in 11 matches and, as they say, they all count:

With Liverpool announcing the signing of Fabinho earlier tonight, this could prove to be a very exciting summer for the Anfield club.
But how do you reckon Fekir would fare in the Premier League next season?
