Wes Foderingham looks up for the challenge of battling with Allan McGregor for the Rangers number one jersey.
The Ibrox goalkeeper has been surrounded by speculation recently linking him with a move away from the club this summer.
That’s been fuelled by Rangers’ interest in (and eventual signing of) McGregor this week.
But it doesn’t look Foderingham is going anywhere – and he’s hit back at one fan who assumes he’ll be sitting on the bench now a former Rangers favourite is back at the club.
After seeing a tweet from the supporter asking if he wasn’t leaving the club and if not he’d have to prepare for some time on the bench, Foderingham responded:

That’s the sort of attitude Rangers fans will want to see from one of their best players – and it’s shaping up to be a good battle between the goalkeepers in Steven Gerrard’s first season at the club.
