Wes Foderingham gave some classy advice to a kid thinking about quitting football.
The Rangers goalkeeper was contacted by Gavin Hamilton on Twitter earlier, telling how his son is considering quitting football due to the amount of goals he’s conceding and the negative comments of rival team parents.
Gavin probably didn’t expect to get a response from the Ibrox goalie, but he did – and the advice given by Foderingham is a brilliant reminder that football players are humans too:
That’s some great advice from Foderingham and hopefully it’ll make the little Rangers fan realise that he should continue playing if he enjoys it.
The Gers goalie has been impressive in Scottish football since moving from Swindon three years ago.
He’s actually been linked with a move away from the club this summer, something he actually denied last month when asked by a supporter on Twitter.
Allan McGregor is expected to join the club this summer, throwing Foderingham’s status as number one goalie into doubt.
