Alexandre Pato Gets Celtic Fans Excited By Responding to Their Pleas

Brazil international Alexandre Pato has managed to get Celtic supporters excited this afternoon after responding to their tongue-in-cheek pleas for him to move to Glasgow.

The former AC Milan, Chelsea and Villarreal striker is currently earning a small fortune playing in the Chinese Super League for Tianjin Quanjian but he raised a few eyebrows on Monday when he tweeted an emoji of a four-leafed clover – a symbol synonymous with the Premiership champions.

Of course, the clover has plenty of other connotations and it’s pretty unlikely the 28-year-old was dropping a cryptic hint about joining Brendan Rodgers’ side, but that hasn’t stopped Celtic fans from flooding the mentions on his Twitter feed.

And it seems Pato has definitely noticed the attention from supporters – and it’s doubly surprising because he doesn’t usually respond to anybody on social media:

Are there any possible legs in this one? What do you think?
