Celtic‘s Tom Rogic has managed to keep his Australia starting spot for their second World Cup game against Denmark this afternoon.
The Hoops midfielder was in the starting XI for the Socceroos’ opening match of the group phase – a 2-1 defeat to France last week.
But he failed to make much of an impact before being substituted in the 70th minute of the match by manager Bert van Marwijk.
The challenge of France is very different to the one they’ll face against Denmark today though – so that explains why Rogic has been given another chance to impress in a game the Aussies have to win if they have any chance of making the last 16.
The game kicks off at 1pm and Rogic’s inclusion in the starting XI will make it an even more interesting watch for Celtic supporters:

Denmark actually won their opening game – a hard-fought 1-0 victory over a strong Peru team.
But Australia should be just as tough a challenge and it will be interesting to see how this ones turns out.
