Cesc Fabregas is taking stick about his choice of shirts well.
The Chelsea midfielder isn’t in the Spanish national team in Russia after being left out of the World Cup squad by former manager Julen Lopetegui.
But he’s still made it to Russia as part of BBC’s punditry team for the competition.
Fabregas made his debut on their coverage of Spain’s 3-3 draw with Portugal last night and got some stick online for wearing a shirt that would look more suitable for a flight pilot.
And after showing up in a similar number for BBC’s coverage of Peru v Denmark this evening, Fabregas couldn’t help poke fun at himself on Twitter:

Fair play to Fabregas – he can obviously see the funny side of taking stick on social media.
He’s actually been a positive part of BBC’s early coverage so far, providing a refreshing view on players playing in a competition he’s already won in his career.
