Chelsea Supporters Are Buzzing to See Ruben Loftus-Cheek Back at Stamford Bridge Next Season

Ruben Loftus-Cheek made his World Cup debut for England on Monday night – and his brief cameo has Chelsea fans everywhere absolutely buzzing to see how he fares for the Blues next season.

The classy midfielder spent last season on-loan at Crystal Palace, where he excelled under Roy Hodgson, leading to his selection in the Three Lions’ 23-man squad heading for Russia.

With England labouring against a sticky and stubborn Tunisia side in Volvograd, Gareth Southgate turned to the 22-year-old with the score tied at 1-1, and he managed to really impress in the final 10 minutes.

He won the corner which led to England’s eventual winner, and his all-round performance left Chelsea supporters fans back in the UK drooling over his potential for next season:

Of course, with the London club’s managerial situation up-in-the-air at the moment, it remains to be seen if Loftus-Cheek actually still has a future with the Blues.

But what did you think of his display for England?
