The Belgian midfielder is out of contract after five years at Manchester United, and is available to sign for any other club without a fee being required, and that, according to the Mirror, seems to be appealing to new Gunners boss Unai Emery.
Arsenal are known to be in the market for a big, physical and imposing holding midfield player, with Steven Nzonzi also linked with the club in recent weeks.
But Fellaini relative cheapness seems to be attractive to the North London club – although their supporters aren’t exactly keen on the news.
The 30-year-old has represented the complete antithesis of what Arsenal stands for as a football club that plays ‘beautiful’ football, and the idea of his permed locks appearing in the club’s iconic red and white kit next season has a lot of people foaming at the mouth:
Why are people even trying to rationalise a move for Marouane Fellaini? It’s Marouane Fellaini, he’s fucking shite. There is no ‘objective take’ here. The take is: he’s fucking shite and he should be playing in Turkey, not for a top six Premier League club.

Have I looked at Marouane Fellaini?
I looked. And then I laughed.

If Marouane Fellaini some how manages to convince a 3rd Premier League team to pay actual money for his services then I’m quitting my job tomorrow and pursuing my life long dream of becoming Emalia Clarke’s human dildo because fucking anything is possible at this point.

So, Emery thinks Marouane Fellaini fits his pass-and-press football?

Granit Xhaka, Marouane Fellaini, Alex Iwobi = total football at its finest. Up there with Sergio Busquets, Xavi and Andres Iniesta tbh.

Imagine letting Jack Wilshere leave for free like a Big Club and then replace him with Marouane Fellaini a few days later. Next level Retardism.

Do you think there’s any way Fellaini could be a hit if he arrives at the Emirates?
