Nikola Katić Was NOT Wearing the New Rangers Home Kit Today

Nikola Katić was paraded in-front of the media at Ibrox this afternoon – but it turns out he WAS NOT wearing the new Rangers home kit.

The Croatian centre-back has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal at the Govan club after agreeing a £2 million move from Slaven Belupo in his homeland, and becomes the fourth summer arrival at the club following Steven Gerrard’s appointment.

As we told you earlier today, Katić seems absolutely delighted to be a Rangers player, declaring he told his agent he would’ve walked to Scotland after hearing about Gerrard’s interest in him, and supporters were delighted to see him wearing their colours too.

But he appeared in what could have been construed as the club’s eagerly-anticipated new home jersey by Hummel, although that rumours has now been dispelled by the club’s Twitter account:

So, whilst we have met Katic himself, we are still waiting with bated breath for the new home shirt.

What do you think of the training top, though?
