There’s a Serious Petition to Have the Champions League Final Replayed

Liverpool fans have started a petition to have the Champions League final replayed – after news broke of Loris Karius‘s concussion during the match.

As we told you yesterday, the German goalkeeper has been diagnosed with sustaining a mild brain injury during the showpiece event in Kiev on May 26 BEFORE his two howlers gifted Real Madrid a 3-1 victory.

The news of his head knock has left some supporters seriously reviewing their thoughts on the evening – and some even want the game to be played all over again from the start.

At the time of publishing this article, the petition on Change.org has almost 2,500 signatories, and continues to grow, albeit with the likelihood that there’s next to no chance of UEFA actually sanctioning a rematch.
