Adnan Januzaj scored an absolute beauty against England in their World Cup clash with Belgium tonight.
The 23-year-old winger is well known to supporters in English football after his breakthrough at Manchester United and loan spell at Sunderland.
He now turns out for Real Sociedad in La Liga, playing 35 times in his debut season at the Spanish club.
But Januzaj would have probably left England feeling like a failure after being unable to build on his meteoric breakthrough at Old Trafford.
Under Davie Moyes, the Belgian burst on the scene with two quality goals in his first start for United and he went on to be a bright spark in a disappointing campaign for the club.
However, he was never able to carry that form on and left United to very little fanfare last year.
So facing England tonight gave Januzaj an opportunity to show that he’s still a quality player – and that’s exactly what he did with his performance and this stunning goal:

How good is that?
That’s the kind of quality Janzuaj didn’t show enough while a United player, but he seems to have his confidence back and it should see him have more of a role to play in the rest of the World Cup for Roberto Martinez’s men.
