Spurs striker Kane helped Gareth Southgate’s England put Panama to the sword in sensational style on Sunday afternoon, with the Three Lions booking their place in the World Cup’s last-16 by thrashing their opponents 6-1.
Kane, of course, managed to grab a hat-trick, and now sits on top of the competition’s top-scorer charts with five goals – helping to cement his reputation as one of the world’s best strikers.
Kane signed a new long-term deal with Tottenham just before the World Cup started, but that hasn’t stopped Fabregas from attempting to troll their supporters whilst speaking as a BBC pundit.
The ex-Arsenal man’s tongue-in-cheek comment during today’s coverage emphasised how little time he has for anybody of the Spurs persuasion:

Cesc Fabregas: "I think Harry Kane is best striker in the Premier League, he’s now ready to play for a proper big club." pic.twitter.com/unNRyXFXwm

Of course, Fabregas was speaking in a light-hearted sense but Spurs supporters will be desperate to finally win some silverware next season – and finally be recognised as an undisputed ‘proper big club’.
What do you think of his comments?
