Jon Flanagan is already in training with Rangers after he was officially unveiled as their latest signing.
The English defender was a free agent this summer following the expiration of his Liverpool contract and Steven Gerrard has moved quickly to add him to his new look Ibrox squad.
His unveiling was expected this afternoon after he passed a medical in Scotland yesterday.
And Flanagan has wasted no time in meeting up with his new teammates, flying out to their pre-season training camp in Spain to pose with the Rangers scarf:

Flanagan has also trained with his new teammates for the first time too, with Rangers TV on hand to capture footage of that this morning:

That’s a very strong signing from Rangers considering Flanagan’s experience and the kind of signing fans will be expecting more of this summer.
Gerrard had already added six new players to his squad before capturing his former Anfield teammate and he’ll continue to strengthen between now and the start of the season.
But his early work means Rangers should be a lot stronger going into their Europa League first round qualifier with Macedonian minnows Shkupi in mid-July.
