The Scotland international has put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at St. Mary’s after deciding to call time on his career at Parkhead, with Brendan Rodgers’ side pocketing a cool £7 million for a player with just one season remaining on his current deal.

Losing the 26-year-old to the English Premier League had seemed inevitable for some time but and when the news broke of Southampton’s move last week, it probably didn’t come as much of a surprise to much of the Celtic support.
But the fact the Saints media team decided to unveil their new capture in a video complete with Celtic fans singing their favourite chant about the midfielder in the background would’ve definitely raised a few eyebrows, and might seem like a bit of a low blow to some:

Whilst it’s been sang about by Bhoys in the past, it now looks like Stuart Armstrong’s glorious hair will be the muse for supporters south of the border.
