Dominic Solanke has been linked with a move to Rangers in recent weeks, with rumours intensifying this afternoon, amid reports that the Liverpool front-man is Steven Gerrard’s number one priority this summer.
The 20-year-old has struggled to make much of an impact at Anfield, having arrived from Chelsea on a free transfer last year.
That will come as no surprise of course, considering Jurgen Klopp had Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane blowing teams away for fun last season, both domestically and in their run to the Champions League final.
Solanke still managed 27 appearances for the Reds though, with Klopp relying on the young Englishman when his beforementioned deadly trio needed rest in what proved to be a gruelling campaign.
That being said, Solanke’s arrival at Ibrox could prove a perfect signing for Gerrard… and here’s why:
1. He’s Got the Swagger

You need a certain swagger and attitude if you’re to survive in Scottish football, Solanke has it in spades.
