Alfredo Morelos is Taking a Pounding For His Performance Away to Shkupi

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is taking a boat-load of criticism from the club’s supporters this evening following the dismal 0-0 draw away to FK Shkupi in the Europa League.

Steven Gerrard’s side progressed to the next stage 2-0 on aggregate, following last week’s 2-0 victory at Ibrox, and would have been confident of travelling to Macedonia and adding to the goals scored by Jamie Murphy and James Tavernier in the first-leg.

Gerrard opted to deploy Morelos as his side’s lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but it wasn’t long before the Colombian forward was wasting chances, with several going begging in the first-half.

The same pattern continued in the second, and it seems Morelos’s underwhelming display wasn’t missed by Gers supporters watching on social media – and some of these comments are pretty brutal indeed:

Is Morelos really a lost cause? Should Rangers actively look to sell him?

Was he really that bad?
