Billy Gilmour Celebrates Being Awarded His First Professional Contract at Chelsea

Ex-Rangers prodigy Billy Gilmour has taken to social media to celebrate being awarded his first-ever professional contract at Chelsea, after establishing himself as one of the most exciting young talents at Stamford Bridge.

The teenager turned 17 earlier this summer, and really made a name for himself on the international stage by scoring a brilliant goal for and captaining the Scotland Under-21 side at the Toulon Tournament in France.

He took a bit of stick for the way in which he decided to leave Ibrox in order to head south, but it looks like Gilmour has an excellent chance of making it big in the English Premier League, if his latest social media updates are anything to go by:

Do you think Gilmour has what it takes to conquer English football and become a Chelsea regular?

And could the creative midfielder finally usher in a new era of progressive football for the Scottish national side?

What do you think?
