McGinn has been repeatedly linked with a move to Parkhead over the past two weeks, and Celtic have reportedly had two bids rejected by the Easter Road already, with a fee of around £3 million being mentioned as the figure that could see the deal go through.
Rodgers has only added Lewis Morgan and Odsonne Edouard as permanent transfers to his squad since the transfer window opened but he’ll undoubtedly be keen to add to that before his side’s assault on the domestic game and the Champions League once again.
And when asked about the prospect of going back in for McGinn during his press conference earlier today, Rodgers gave a rather coy answer:
