Rumours are swirling about Celtic and Rangers becoming ‘premium partners’ with Pro Evolution Soccer – and that could lead to both Celtic Park and Ibrox being in PES 2019.
Fans have long been hoping that either FIFA or PES would add some Scottish football stadiums, but so far the SPFL hasn’t been acknowledged outwith EA Sports’ licensing of the Scottish Premiership.
It was revealed earlier this year that the league had signed a rights deal with Konami so that the Ladbrokes Premiership brand could officially appear in the upcoming game.
But now there’s talk that the Glasgow clubs could become ‘premium partners’ with PES, much like Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund have had.
That’s according to temfutebol.com.br editor Renan Galvani – who is a former YouTuber and self-proclaimed ‘lover of PES’.
He claims that a premium deal could be in the works that could even have both Celtic Park and Ibrox in the game this year.
And that would be a very popular move with fans of both clubs.
Adding to his report, PESEP – a partnered PES YouTuber – has shared that he’s been invited to the UK leg of their press tour, which is significantly taking place at Celtic Park on August 2nd.
So everything points towards some big news coming for supporters of those clubs who may be interested in playing PES this year.
