Celtic Fans Are Split Over the Future of Talented Winger Mikey Johnston

Celtic winger Mikey Johnston is being lined-up for a potential loan deal this summer – but the club’s supporters seem torn over the future of the promising teenager.

The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the club’s most promising up-and-coming talents under Brendan Rodgers, and his goal in Saturday’s friendly win over Standard Liege underlined Johnston’s potential to challenge for a first-team berth this season.

Johnston also caught the eye when he scored a sensational solo goal for Scotland Under-21s against England at the Toulon Tournament in June, and he seems to possess all of the abilities to be a real star for club and country in the coming seasons.

With that in mind, the Sun are claiming St Mirren are weighing-up a season-long loan deal for Johnston, whilst Neil Lennon’s Hibs are also rumoured to be in the frame.

Should he stay or should he go out and get some regular top-flight game time under his belt? This lot certainly seem conflicted:

What do you think Johnston should do?
