Celtic Fans Will Love Chris Sutton’s Tweet About Kylian Mbappe

Celtic fans will love Chris Sutton’s tweet during the World Cup Final about Kylian Mbappe.

The former Hoops striker is currently in Russia as part of BBC’s media team covering the tournament and he’s obviously been impressed with France’s star man.

The Monaco attacker has been outstanding at the World Cup, but quiet so far in this game.

That led Sutton to post this tweet about one of his former Celtic teammates – one that should get a laugh from supporters of the Scottish champions who look back fondly on that period in the club’s history:

Somehow we’re not so sure that’s really the case – Mbappe is a whippet!

France currently lead Croatia 2-1 at half-time of the game in Moscow, with a Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann scoring for the French while Ivan Perisic hit the Croats’ only goal.

But it’s been a half dominated by the officiating, with Griezmann diving for the free-kick that led to the opening goal before VAR award France a controversial penalty that the French converted just before half-time.
