England Fans Are Absolutely Raving About ‘World Class’ Harry Maguire

England are into the quarter-finals of the World Cup for the first time since 2006 – and just about every Three Lions supporter is raving about centre-back Harry Maguire.

England met the South Americans in Moscow with a place in the last-eight against Sweden at stake, and it looked like Gareth Southgate’s men were home and dry following Harry Kane’s second-half penalty.

However, Barcelona defender Yerry Mina scored his third of the tournament in stoppage time to level things up, and the tie eventually went all the way to spot-kicks.

England eventually triumphed 4-3, and there’s absolutely no doubt which England star is coming in for the most praise – with some fans even insisting Maguire should now be considered as a world class defender:

Are supporters right to cover the Leicester City player in such high praise? Has he been one of the tournament’s best defenders so far?

What do you think?
