Juventus Sold €52M Worth of Cristiano Ronaldo Shirts in Just 24 Hours

Juventus are starting to reap the benefits of signing Cristiano Ronaldo and he hasn’t even kicked a ball for them yet – after it was revealed they’ve sold an enormous amount of jerseys with the Portuguese superstar’s name on the back.

Ronaldo touched down in Turin earlier today and has undergone his medical tests ahead of being officially presented as the club’s all-time record signing, and it appears the 33-year-old is still just as marketable as ever.

The former Real Madrid striker has taken on his iconic number seven shirt from winger Juan Cuadrado, and it seems Juve fans have been heading out to buy their side’s new kit with Ronaldo on the back in their droves:

It’s not entirely clear if it’s Juventus who’ll benefit from the massive spike in sales, or shirt manufacturers Adidas, but either way there’s absolutely no doubting just how popular Ronaldo remains.

How do you think he’ll fare in Italian football?
