Liverpool Fans Urge Club to Break the Bank For Harry Maguire

Liverpool supporters are urging the club to make a move for Harry Maguire this summer, as the Leicester City centre-half continues to impress for England at the World Cup.

Maguire has been at the heart of the English defence for every match of the tournament so far and has played a key role in Gareth Southgate’s side’s run to the semi-finals.

Without question, Maguire has been one of the standout defenders not only for England but in the competition as a whole, and he’ll almost definitely have a long line of suitors when he returns home later this month.

And it seems Liverpool supporters are hoping Jurgen Klopp gets his chequebook out, and breaks the bank to make Maguire the new partner for Virgil van Dijk at Anfield:

Give Leicester paid £17 million to sign Maguire from Hull City only last year, you’d imagine it would take a pretty mammoth bid to persuade the Foxes hierarchy to sell, but do you think Liverpool could be tempted to make a move?

And would Maguire fare well under Klopp?
