Man City Are Being Brutally Trolled After Chelsea Swoop to Sign Jorginho From Napoli

Chelsea look to be on the verge of signing Jorginho from Napoli – only a matter of days after it was assumed to Italy international would sign on the dotted line at Manchester City.

The 26-year-old has been wanted by some of European football’s top clubs for the last several months now, with City repeatedly linked with a big-money deal to bring the ball-playing midfielder to the Etihad for the start of the 2018/19 campaign.

Given City’s financial power, and the lure of playing for Pep Guardiola’s champions, it looked like Jorginho’s move to the Sky Blues was a formality, but it turns out he’ll be moving to Stamford Bridge instead, according to Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Jorginho’s former Naples manager Maurizio Sarri is expected to take up the reins at the Bridge as the London club’s new manager, and living in the capital appears to have played a big part in swaying the move in Chelsea’s favour – much to the enjoyment of their rival fans on social media:

Is this an embarrassing situation for City? And who do they turn to next?
