Manchester United have risked the wrath of England supporters by apparently predicting a Croatia victory against the Three Lions in the World Cup on Wednesday night.
Gareth Southgate’s side are gearing up for a showdown with Luka Modric and co with a place in the tournament’s final up for grabs, and a United contingent will be crucial if England are to progress.

Jesse Lingard and Ashley Young have been key players for Southgate, and both are expected to start on Wednesday inside the Luzhniki Stadium.
However, both players will have been rather confused to see their club tweet an emoji of a bronze medal this afternoon – appearing to hint at England losing and going into the third place playoff.
Of course, the tweet might’ve just been making reference to the fact the third place match takes place on Saturday, but that’s not how a lot of people perceived it online:
Why the bronze on Saturday? 3rd place?
