Plenty of Manchester United Fans Reckon Signing Thiago Alcantara Would Solve All Their Problems

Manchester United are being linked with a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara today, and plenty of the club’s supporters reckon a move for the Spanish midfielder would improve the starting XI greatly.

The Red Devils have endured a frustrating transfer window so far, with only Fred and teenage right-back Diogo Dalot brought in as serious transfer dealings, with reports suggesting Jose Mourinho is growing frustrated with his board’s lack of investment.

But ESPN are reporting that United – along with Premier League rivals Chelsea – have officially enquired with Bayern regarding Thiago’s availability, and it seems there’s quite a lot of fans who’d love to see the deal go through:

When he was leaving Barcelona back in the summer of 2013, Thiago was strongly linked with United then, only for the Bavarian giants to swoop ahead of them in the queue.

But could we be about to see his belated move to Old Trafford after all? And would he fit into Mourinho’s style of play?
