Rangers have been announced as official partners of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 – and the game makers have revealed their iconic Ibrox Stadium will be a playable venue in the latest instalment of the popular console franchise.
The Glasgow side followed their arch rivals Celtic in teaming up with Japanese designers Konami as official partners, with both teams announcing the deal via their Twitter feeds, but it seems Rangers will have one aspect in the new game that Rangers won’t.
Pro Ev bosses have revealed Ibrox will be available to download from a data pack after the game is launched, and it has the club’s supporters pretty excited:

We're also happy to reveal that the iconic Ibrox Stadium will be added to the game via a Data Pack after launch. 😊 pic.twitter.com/CbBJ21SuzT

And with the stadium. You become unstoppable, that's great. Keep adding some stadiums, it'll be a great year to play Master League.

We’ve speculated before about some of Scotland’s most recognisable stadiums being in either PES or FIFA, so this is probably a move that’s long overdue in many respects.
What do you think of the new developments?
