Scott Brown sees the Funny Side After His PES Avatar is Compared to Lord Voldemort

Pro Evolution Soccer have announced a partnership with Celtic for the forthcoming instalment of their console game, but it wasn’t long before the avatar designed for Scott Brown was compared to Harry Potter’s arch nemesis.

The Japanese makers behind the popular game, Konami, revealed their official link-up with the Scottish Premiership champions by releasing a statement earlier today, and accompanied it with a pretty snazzy mock-up of how the club’s biggest stars will look in the gaming world.

Of course, the likeness in most of the players is pretty incredible, but it wasn’t long before rival fans were quickly pointing out Brown’s similarities to Lord Voldemort:

Thankfully, the Hoops captain was able to see the funny side, and replied to some of the comments via his Instagram page earlier this evening:

What do you think of Celtic’s link with PES? Is it more likely to make you buy the 2019 edition when it’s released?
