Liverpool‘s new third kit has been released this afternoon, and it’s fair to say there’s plenty of fans who aren’t best pleased with the new creation from manufacturers New Balance.
As we’ve told you previously, the American brand have taken a lot of stick in recent weeks after revealing the club’s new away kit is a very bold bright purple design, and it seems the European strip hasn’t been too well received either.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will turn out in continental competition next season in an all-grey uniform, complete with a red trim and a shaded diamond design in the background – reminiscent of the away kit worn during the John Barnes era in the 1980s.
However, if New Balance were trying to tug at the heartstrings of supporters and take a stroll down memory lane, a glance at social media suggests they haven’t quite been able to pull it off:
Disgusting as usual , it seems like clown outfit

Why do ye try all the obscure designs and colours with Liverpool kits? Every few years, there is a 9/10 or 10/10 kit like last years home but most of them are average like this years away and third. All the other clubs with New Balance always have nice normal kits -Porto,Celtic etc

Can yee just calm down with the kits? We don't need mad designs, can yee keep it simple PLEASE.

Hopefully they play better than how they look

Should be our 2nd kit. We stuffed up big time. That purple kit should be illegal!!

Looks like ink wore off in the middle of printing but still much better than the purple away kit.

What do you think of the kit?
Would you buy it?
