Antoine Griezmann pulled out Fortnite‘s ‘taking the L’ dance after scoring in the World Cup Final.

The French striker had a hand in the first goal for his country in the match against Croatia in Moscow this afternoon and then scored the second from the penalty spot after a very controversial VAR decision.

His free-kick was directed into the back of the net by the head of Mario Mandzukic for the opener, but Croatia equalised shortly after through Ivan Perisic.

Then the referee punished Perisic for a handball in the box thanks to VAR – and Griezmann was on hand to send Danijel Subosic the wrong way to make it 2-1.

And as he wheeled away to celebrate, he gave his nod to Fortnite – the video game dominating popular culture right now:

Fortnite will be absolutely loving that!

Griezmann has produced the dance before while celebrating in games, but this is obviously the biggest stage that he’s taken the L.
