Video: England Have Been Preparing For their Croatia Semi-Final by Using Rubber Chickens

England have been preparing for their World Cup semi-final with Croatia tomorrow night in a rather unusual manner – by throwing around some rubber chickens.

Gareth Southgate’s men have the opportunity to book their place in Sunday’s final when they come up against Luka Modric and co inside the Luzhniki Stadium, but they’ll need to be at the very top of their game to do so.

You’d imagine a manager preparing for the biggest game of his career probably toys with employing all kinds of techniques to try and get his methods across but we’ve never heard of players throwing around rubber chickens.

Southgate has made his players warm-up by playing dodgeball, and by throwing around a soft nerf ball, but rubber chickens? We have absolutely no idea where that suggestion came from:

What do you make of the rather unorthodox methods employed by the England coaching staff, and will they see off Croatia tomorrow night?
