Hibs looked very impressive last night as they smashed six goals past NSI Runavik.
Neil Lennon’s men kicked off their Europa League qualifying campaign with a visit of the Faroe Islands outfit to Easter Road for the first leg of their first round qualifier.
And they would have been confident of getting a positive result, despite star man John McGinn sitting in the stands amid speculation Celtic could bid for him a third time this summer.
Lennon has also had to deal with some departures in the off-season too, with Dylan McGeouch and Scott Allan exiting the club.
But they weren’t missed last night as Hibs won 6-1, with returning talisman Florian Kamberi scoring a hat-trick, new midfielder Stevie Mallan scoring two and youngster Oli Shaw getting a goal too.
It’s safe to say Hibs look impressive, even at this early stage:

How good was that free-kick from Mallan?
Hibs will head out to Faroe Islands next week for the second leg and you’d expect them to build on that aggregate score in that game.
Then focus will be on the next round as well as the Scottish Premiership season kicking off at the beginning of next month.
