Hibs put Berwick Rangers to the slaughter in a 6-0 friendly win last night.

Neil Lennon’s men are fine tuning their preparations for the Europa League qualifying campaign that will kick off against NSI Runavik next week.

Given the expectations of the Hibees manager, he’ll have his eye on going deep in qualification and possibly challenging for a spot in the group stages.

And looking good in pre-season friendlies will certainly help.

They beat Linlithgow Rose last week and have followed that up with a very convincing victory over Berwick last night.

Unfortunately for the League Two outfit, they found Hibs in fine form:

Lennon’s men will next face Blackburn Rovers in Paul Hanlon’s testimonial on Sunday before welcoming the Faroese minnows to Easter Road next Thursday for the first leg of their tie.

Then it’s out to the Faroe Islands a week later for the second leg, where Hibs will be hoping to have a comfortable lead.
