Liverpool fans will love seeing Alisson Becker’s first day at the club.
The Brazilian goalkeeper was confirmed as a £66million signing for the Anfield outfit earlier this week, joining from AS Roma on a six-year contract.
It’s the signing supporters have been wanting, particularly since Liverpool’s defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League Final back in May.
Loris Karius’ unfortunate two errors ultimately cost Liverpool that game and the chance to win the trophy – adding to the widespread belief that the club needed to sign a new goalie.
And now they’ve done that with the capture of Becker.
After the clubs agreed the deal for Becker, the Brazil World Cup goalie headed to Liverpool to get the deal done and take care of media duties in the aftermath of it.
Fortunately, the club’s media team was on hand to capture his movements on his first day as a player there and the results will be entertaining for the supporters to watch:
Becker’s English is very good, which must be a big bonus for Jurgen Klopp, the squad and the supporters as they look to get the goalkeeper straight into the team at the start of the season.
