The Croatian midfielder was very influential as his country beat England 2-1 in the semi-final, scoring their equaliser before going on to threaten the English goal numerous times before Mario Mandzukic’s extra time goal.
And he’s continued that in this game, constantly causing problems for the French defence in the first half of the final in Moscow.
Antoine Griezmann’s dangerous free-kick was headed into his own goal to give Didier Deschamps’ men an early lead.
But Perisic had Croatia back on level terms thanks to Perisic’s brilliant finish:

How good is that from Perisic?
The Inter Milan attacker has been linked regularly with a move to Old Trafford over the last 12 months, but so far there’s been no deal agreed.
Based on his World Cup performance though, maybe Jose Mourinho will be convinced to sign him this summer?
