Video: Mesut Ozil Bounces Back From Germany Problems to Score For Arsenal v PSG

Mesut Ozil bounced back from his World Cup woes this afternoon to score on his first pre-season appearance for Arsenal, in the glamour friendly against PSG.

The German play-maker looks to have played his final match for his country following this summer’s tournament in Russia, after accusing the DFB of ‘racism’ and ‘discrimination’ during the fallout of their disastrous campaign.

As you can probably imagine, Ozil is probably going through a bit of a torrid time of it at the moment, but if he’s feeling the stresses and strains he certainly isn’t showing it.

The 29-year-old was handed the captain’s armband by new manager Unai Emery for today’s clash against the cash-rich Parisians in America, and it wasn’t long before he was back to focusing on club football:

Of course, it’s very early days but could the fallout with the German FA actually act as a catalyst to improve Ozil’s club form for the Gunners?

What do you think?
