Paul Pogba scored a nice goal to give France a 3-1 lead in the World Cup Final against Croatia.
The Manchester United midfielder has had a brilliant tournament in Russia, showing the kind of quality that made him an £89.3million signing for the club back in 2016.
Since signing for United, he’s not really impressed on a consistent basis, but this World Cup has seen his best form.
And this goal in the final is just the icing on the cake for Pogba.
Leading 2-1 thanks to a Mario Mandzukic own goal and Antoine Griezmann’s penalty, Pogba’s shot was blocked at the edge of the box, but it rebounded straight into his path and he curled the ball around Luka Modric and beyond goalkeeper Danijel Subosic:

That will make Jose Mourinho very happy.
Since then, Kylian Mbappe has hit a fourth for France and they look guaranteed to lift the World Cup for the second time in their history.
